Easter Party!

The annual Easter Party was held on Sunday at Grandma Richard's house. Due to the rain/snow, we had to have the easter egg hunt inside down in the basement. Not only was it the Easter party, but it was also Gardner's birthday. Happy Birthday! These are a few of the pictures of the afternoon.

This weekend, Becca and Vanessa came up for Baby Isabella's blessing so Saturday night Vanessa made us some delicious Argentina food. Afterwards, we enjoyed a great movie, 27 dresses (great flick), at the Lewiston Community Theater. It was a fabulous night, but while there, I lost my CTR ring. Now, I can't choose the right!! The night was fun, all the same though.

This is our "Top Model" pose. Notice Vanessa's eyes...kinda scary!!!

Weekend with the Twins

I really think that I took way too many pictures this weekend, but the twins were here and there were just so many things to take pictures of. We went to Grandma Hall's house and visited her. They were so cute and fun to be with.

Little Cooks

I woke up this morning, and found some little cooks with my mother. They helped so much, but seemed to like eating the food more than making it.

This is where a picture of Mom and the girls would be. However, she threatened me. She says she looks like a "scraggle muffin." (whatever than means)

Stories

As my brothers and sisters know, my dad is quite the storyteller! I grew up listening to stories about an interesting boy, Bernie Fry, who would end up doing something crazy like swimming the manure pond or something of that nature. Well, that has carried on. Every now and then, I see Dad telling the kids stories like that. Last night, Dad made up quite the story about what happened to our television (it really just broke). He gathered the kids to listen and told them of an elaborate story where Grandma and Grandpa had someone break into their house and steal the T.V. He first told it to Hannah, and she seemed a bit worried, but Kaitlyn could tell that that was too far fetched. Trevor seemed to understand the story as well. My dad told my siblings and I stories (and I consider him the best storyteller ever), and now his grandchildren will always remember his stories.

A Night With the Cousins

The Garrick Hall family came over to see the Robert Hall family. It was quite a fun night with the kids there, with the exception of Rachel (she had a birthday party).

One of the funniest parts of the night was watching Trevor, Emilia, and Elizabeth try to interact with each other. The twins were a bit nervous with Trevor, but he was such a cute big cousin! He gave them hugs and tried to play with them, but they didn't seem to know how to loading the tractor.

(Notice Emilia's eye. She looks a bit like she doesn't know what to do)

While the others played, Hannah worked hard on coloring some stickers. When she was done, she tapped me on the arm with her pointer finger. "Emily, I decorated my shirt!" She sure did a great job of coloring those stickers and arranging them so well on her shirt.

I'm back...

I made it back from Hawaii yesterday. It was a beautiful place, but so in my house in Lewiston, Utah. Lisa was so kind to let me stay at her tiny apartment with her roommates. I spent every day on the beach, with the exception of Sunday. I loved Hawaii.

These are the girls that I went to Hawaii with. They were great and we had a blast!

Hawaii

I had so much fun in Hawaii, but I can't tell you all about it (that would take too long). I just picked a few of the highlights of my trip and hope that you enjoy these pictures.
I spent most of my time on Hukilau beach because it was closest to Lisa's house. I loved to boogie board and the Egberts were so kind to let us use all of their beach gear. This action shot caught me when I actually road the wave. Really though, I am not very good at this.
In Haleiwa, there is this little store that has the best shave ice in the world. I went there multiple time and enjoyed a peach mango pina colada with ice cream in the bottom. It was amazing, so if you ever get a chance go to the famous Matsumoto's.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go do the baptisms at the temple. There are not very many temple workers so we needed some boys to go with us, but there weren't any willing to come with these crazy girls. On Sunday, I went and walked around the ground.
We also made it to the Dole Plantation, after we splurged at the swap meet earlier that day. It was interesting to see just how pineapples grow but I don't think I will plant one any time soon. They take about two years to grow, so I'll just buy it at my local Lee's Marketplace.
One of my favorite places that I went to was Sunset beach. We ate our doughnuts from Ted's Bakery and watched the sunset. The waves were getting big while we were there and we could see some surfers on their way out to catch a way. I was just content with just watching from a distance and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Thrill Seeker

On my first day in Hawaii, I got a huge surprise. My friends signed me up for an appointment to go sky diving! I really wasn't going to go, because I was a bit worried that I wouldn't make it back to Utah. However, after much convincing, I decided that I would try it out and if I didn't die, I would have a beautiful place to be buried. On Thursday, my friends and I went to Skydive Hawaii, and signed our lives away...literally. I had the time of my life though!! Sky diving is not what I expected it to be. The plane ride was the most nerve racking experience ever, but once my feet left the plane, there was absolutely no fear. I just enjoyed the view. I thought Hawaii was pretty standing on the ground, but it's even better when you are soaring through the air.
