Happy Birthday Emma

Happy Birthday Emma! I can't believe that she is three years old! Courtney and I went down for the night and celebrated her birthday. Here are a few of the pictures from the big party at the Gee house. Jenn sent a text message to Courtney to tell Emma Happy Birthday. If you notice the phone in Courtney's hand, Emma just saw the message.

Grandma Richards gave Emma a card that had a dollar bill in it. I didn't think she would understand what it meant, but she was so excited. She got a big smile on her face and ran around with her dollar bill.Since Mom and Dad couldn't be there, we brought their present down with us. Emma understood that it was from Grandma and Grandpa because of their picture on the front.

Mom has been working on a quilt for Emma for the past few weeks for her bed. It was very cute and Emma enjoyed it.

Emma's Cake

Emma helped make her cake and she did a lovely job. We enjoyed a fabulous white cake that was covered in pink frosting, that is after we snitched most of it. Emma is really good at sneeking her bits of the cake, as seen in these pictures. At one point, Emma grabbed the spoon and dug right in. She didn't want to wait to eat it, hence the hole in the top. It looked great and tasted good though.
