A bunch of my friends and I decided to go to Junior Prom stag, carrying on the tradition of the senior girls before us. Who would have ever thought going to a prom would be so much fun without a date? Getting all dressed up to go to the dance was so much fun.
We had our pictures taken at the dance and after we decided to go to the Olive Garden for dinner. Having twelve girls come in their prom dresses, without dates, surprised just about everyone there and most people laughed at us. A little girl came up to my friend, Cassandra, who was wearing a blue dress, and wanted to say hi to Cinderella. How cute!! We took pictures left and right, twirled in our dresses, and were loud. Needless to say, we were causing a scene. We even joked with our waiter that we didn't know were our dates went and asked him if he would come with us to the dance.
When the time for our bill came, our waiter told us that he had a surprise for us. He said that an anonymous gentleman had paid for our meals (Twelve girls!!). We were all in shock, because that is a lot of money. The waiter went on to say that this gentleman,
wanted us to know that tonight, of all nights, a man should be paying for our meal.
I don't even know this man, but I will never forget his kindness to me and my friends that night.
